Thanks very much for organizing this. If it's okay with Scoot and Mary, would you remind us of the family website address so we can look at photos of Ethan and the Townsend family?

What do you think of asking friends to bring or send one or two photos of Ethan and/or write down a description/memory of time spent with Ethan? (Assuming that Scoot and Mary wouldn't have the particular photo and might love to hear of some of Ethan's excursions, experiences, etc. while he was away at school.)

I believe the family website is down. As far as I know it was hosted on a server in Ethan's room which had a few hiccups since he left. His current roommates are actively working to restore it. I'll let you know if and when it goes back up.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to try to organize an online repository for photos or notes, that would be a great idea. I would recommend two catagories, a "Best of Ethan" repostiry and a "Everything Ethan" repository. The idea would be that people could submit their one or two favorite photo/story with a caption and the "Best Of" repository and they can submit unlimited additional material to the "Everything Ethan" repository.

This way family and friends will have access to some great photos in the the "Best of" without being overwhelmed.

Bringing or mailing physical photos is a great idea too. Maybe we can get a volunteer to handle receiving and organizing.

We have a guest room with a queen size bed and would be happy to host a single person or couple coming into town for the memorial service.

Tom (Mary's cousin) and I will be coming down from Pasco, Wa. We will try to get a hotel room. I'm not sure if our girls will be attending, they are in Bellingham.

We live in Central Point (about 1/2 hour from Ashland) and are happy to have people stay with us. We have two double beds available. Also, we are about 5 minutes from the airport if anyone needs a ride.

We live in Central Point, 1/2 hour from Ashland, 5 minutes to the Airport, and would be happy to pick up and deliver people to and from the Medford International Airport as needed.

We have two extra small bedrooms in Ashland and welcome anyone who comes to celebrate Ethan's life. I was his sixth grade teacher, as well as Hannah's, and we are good friends with Scooter and Mary. Anything we can do to help, please let us know.

I have one or even two queen beds available for the weekend in Ashland. I'll be able to provide pick-up and drop-off at/from the Medford airport if needed. I coached soccer to Ethan and his fab generation a few years back.

We have 3 guest rooms available at our house. Each has a queen bed.

We have a private studio apt, queen bed + couch, with shower and kitchen, fully furnished in the hills of Talent. Good for couples, or small family. Available as many days as needed for family and friends.

The guest rooms that we offered have been promised to two of Ethan's CU friends from Boulder. It's really wonderful to see how many people have opened their homes to all the many friends and family coming here to honor Ethan.

I just sent a message about our room and also wanted to mention that our home is in Ashland, a couple of blocks away from where Ethan grew up. I was fortunate to be Ethan's 1st and 2nd grade teacher, who could see the brilliant and wonderful person to be, even at the tender age of 6. We would be honored to have any of Ethan's family or friends stay with us while they are in town. Diane
